One Week Divorce Process
This process is what makes me unique and where I spend most of my time. We begin with a consultation to make sure this is a good fit for your situation. Once retained, you provide key details and we meet to finalize terms. I draft, you review, and we finalize for signing—all over the course of a single week. If you need more time, that’s fine, but if you are ready to be done we will get you done.
Here’s how it works:
- Let’s talk: We start with a complimentary consultation to understand your situation and make sure One Week Divorce is the right fit for you.
- We get to work: Once you’re on board, you’ll sign an engagement letter and I’ll gather everything I need to move forward.
- One meeting. That’s it: A single video call with both parties — usually under an hour — to finalize the details.
- Your documents, drafted: I prepare all formal legal pleadings and send them to you for review.
- Need changes? No problem: I revise and send back for final approval.
- Sign and step back: Once approved, documents go out for signature. Your part is done.
- I handle the rest: From here I manage all court interactions and keep you informed until your divorce is fully finalized.
Traditional Legal Representation
If the One Week process doesn’t fit your needs, I’m happy to provide legal guidance in other amicable contexts. However, I focus exclusively on keeping clients out of court. If you anticipate a contested dispute or need litigation, I’ll gladly connect you with the right attorney. My goal is to guide you toward the best solution—even if that’s not me.
Mediation
I also offer traditional family law mediation, whether for divorce, custody, or support modifications. I’m happy to work with self-represented parties or those with counsel, on an hourly fee basis.
